CPDM Celebrates President Paul Biya’s Economic Impact on Douala

This event, held at the Bonanjo party house, attracted prominent CPDM figures who underscored the President’s contributions to Douala’s economic infrastructure.
Key projects highlighted included the monumental second bridge over the Wouri River, the Japoma Sports Complex, and improved urban infrastructure at Douala’s East and West entrances. Waste disposal initiatives, coordinated by the Douala City Council, were also praised for their role in transforming the city’s image and hygiene standards.
« President Biya’s rule has driven Cameroon towards remarkable development in various sectors, » noted Marie Dine Adzogo, Douala’s 4th Deputy Mayor. Municipal Councillor Charles Elie Zang also commented that a renewed mandate for Biya in 2025 could drive further economic prosperity.
With over 40 years at the helm, President Biya’s government has been instrumental in fostering economic growth, with aspirations to continue such progress in the coming years.
