NDOLLE CITY: A Duplicate of Douala on Process

World Investment Program through it’s project dobbed « Ndolle City Project » , is about revolutionizing many sectors of activities in Douala in particular and Cameroon at large. The what’s up of the project was disclosed on August 27th , 2024. As it stands, the project falls in line with President Paul Biya’s vision for economic emergence by 2035.

The Ndolle City Project estimated at 10.7 billion dollars per year over a period of 25 years, seeks to relieve congestion in the City of Douala, by creating a new eco- touristic city in Sikoum, a village located at about 30 kilometers from Douala. According to FOCA Jilles, coordinator of the project, the initiative will aside boosting living conditions of Cameroonians, make of Cameroon an economic giant. Ndolle City is a proof to the fact that, even the most insane  dreams properly planned  can become a reality. Regional delegates from various ministries are eager to see this ambitious project come true.

The Ndolle City Project intends to make of Cameroon a place to be through services like,  trading, intermeditation, brokerage, Funding projects for small and medium size enterprises and financial consultation.

The congested socio-economic nature of the City of Douala is the motive for the creation of the Ndolle City, aimed at creating a new space to host some of the industrial activities carried out in Douala.

The construction of Ndolle City over a period of 25 years, aims to attract nearly 5 millions visitors per year in Cameroon, and to stimulate local development. The official presentation of the Ndolle City Project model is scheduled for December 2024, to take place in Yaounde.
