Expansion of the Port Authority of Douala PAD 🇨🇲

The Port Authority of Douala PAD wants to construct an industrial and logistics port area on a 500 hectare piece of land in Missole 1 village in the Dibamba Subdivision of the Littoral Region. Officials of the Port Authority on June 19 held a sensitization and information meeting with local authorities and inhabitants of the Missole 1 village, who will be affected by this industrial development.

During the meeting, the representative of the Director General of the PAD Slyvestre MEZATIO revealed that 15 thousand direct jobs are expected to be created due to this initiative, and those with land titles, properties and farms will be indemnified. The gathering was chaired by the Senior Divisional Officer for the Sanaga Maritime Division, Cyrille Yvan ABONDO.
