Virtual Learning Gains more Grounds
Audrey Azoulay, Director General of UNESCO has made it clear that her organization will keep providing all forms of support to improve distance learning in Cameroon. She made the declaration while visiting the Center for Distance Learning of the Ministry of Secondary Education in Yaounde. UNESCO has been supporting this Center through the provision of Cameras for virtual learning, training teachers among others. She witnessed live lessons with about 25 schools in the 10 Regions of Cameroon connected. Present during the visit was the Prime Minister Chief Doctor Joseph Dion NGUTE, Professor Jaques Fame Ndongo who used the opportunity on behalf of the head of state, to thank UNESCO for supporting distance learning in Cameroon.
