2.1 Million Households In Cameroon Connected To Eneo’s Network

Eneo has connected 75,000 new households and businesses to its electricity network in the first half of 2024, raising the total to 2.1 million. This growth is driven by the World Bank-funded Rural Electrification Project (Perace). Despite a 4% drop from the same period in 2023, the company has reached its annual target. Eneo now reports 739,000 prepaid meter users, representing 35% of its customer base. The Perace project aims to electrify 687 localities by 2025.
