BEAUTY CONTESTS: Mystery behind Projects and Budgets.

 The Miss Cameroon contest which took place on June 28th 2024 with Njiikam Noura Raissa emerging as winner, was another occasion for Cameronians to ponder about how the award budget is managed.

Organizing Committees of of beauty competitions are most often, triggered by the desire to make profit from the event through advertisement and sponsorship.Not just that, they equally intend to help the winner in creating carrier opportunities in various domains, further their education, support charitable projects or even boost the winner’s public profil, that , through a well defined budget. These usually spark up contestants to put together impressive social projects, supposed to be fulfilled after the the award. Viany Ebele, aspiring Miss Thin Littoral.

Such aspirations most often, turn to history after the award. Meanwhile, organizing committees foresee sanctions that will befall defrauders of the award budget. Reimbursement of financial award’s, withdrawal of title, disqualification from future contests are among others punishment that awaits winners. Taking a look at these measures, one could be teased to find out why the winners still leave their projects half way?

 Either they don’t give what was promised at all or they don’t give the entire money . It makes it very difficult for the winner and at the end when the winner does not go through with her project, the public turns against her not knowing that it was because the organizer didn’t finance her project properly. In a nutshell, much is still to b done for the population to tap from the mind-blowing projects that winners of beauty contests usually carry.
