Marie-Laure Akin-Olugbade Appointed Senior Vice President of the African Development Bank

Before her appointment, Akin-Olugbade served as the Acting Vice President for Regional Development, Integration, and Service Delivery since 2022, where she played a pivotal role in promoting regional economic integration across Africa. She managed a portfolio worth 9 billion dollars for West Africa, providing crucial leadership in some of the continent’s most challenging environments, including the Sahel region.
